This course introduces the Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) concept, Security Threats to Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and the Reliability Standards developed by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). This NERC CIP training course is a comprehensive overview of the CIP standards developed by Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and NERC and will help you to understand the requirements for personnel and training, physical security of Bulk Electric Systems (BES) cybersecurity and information protection.
