An overview of cyber security risk management frameworks and practices. Students will model cybersecurity risks and apply both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methods.
Learning Objectives
The learning objectives are to apply the risk management framework and techniques to improve risk exposure of an entity, use continuous threat intelligence to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies, develop risk assessment operation and resiliency policies, metrics, and security solutions in accordance with ethics, laws, policies, and governance, and educate stakeholders on outcomes of cyber risk assessments and risk reduction strategies.
