Course Description

An overview of centralized security functions where people, processes, and technology are employed to continuously monitor and improve an organization's security posture while preventing, detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents.

Learning Objectives

The learning objectives are to explain the function of a security operations center, identify analyst roles at a security operation center, work in a cyber operations center in compliance with ethics, laws, policies, and governance, secure, inform, and educate stakeholders on the critical functions of a security operations center, and develop operation and resiliency solutions using risk assessment, threat intelligence to secure people, process, and technology.
