Course Description

This course examines the environment, opportunities, and challenges of leadership decision making in government agency and interagency settings from individual, managerial, and multi-party perspectives.

Learning Objectives

  • Decision contexts and the consequences for federal government leaders and organizations are viewed using the multiple perspectives of governance, policy, technology, culture, and economics.
  • Students actively explore and reflect on how and why decisions are made by immersing themselves into complex issue scenarios and using leading-edge decision tools.
