As a leader in technical career education, the New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) has Associate, Bachelor’s, and Master's Degrees in Cybersecurity that are designed with input from both educators and industry experts. Information and the technology infrastructure it resides on are two of an organization’s most valuable assets and the successful defense and protection of these assets requires a trained cybersecurity professional who not only understands the technical aspects, but also is aware of strategic business interests.
At the Associate’s level, our programs give each student a solid balance by providing a base of analytical skills with hands-on training. Students apply practical cybersecurity theory to real-life cyber incidents in comprehensive scenarios. Bachelor’s degree students develop the expertise to properly deploy and secure information technology systems in the range of environments necessary to defend organizations that vary from multi-national corporations to local small businesses. The Master’s degree blends advanced technical knowledge and essential cybersecurity skills with business management and enterprise leadership principles. This program’s goal is to create an effective leader with a mix of operational and technical expertise, project and team management abilities, and a solid foundation in the principles of cybersecurity.
Each cybersecurity degree program is coordinated with the NEIT Cybersecurity Center and our industry experienced faculty. Attesting to the quality of these programs, NEIT has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cyber Defense Education by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency.
