
Middle Georgia State University’s (MGA) School of Information Technology offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with major concentration in Cybersecurity. The Cybersecurity concentration includes courses in server administration, network security, cyber forensics, ethical hacking and penetration testing, incident response, software security, virtual computing, and critical infrastructure management.
Coursework can be completed fully online. Middle Georgia State’s tuition is affordable, with fully online tuition rates starting at $150.00 per credit hour. The courses in the program also emphasize critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal and communication skills. The program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. Additionally, Middle Georgia State University is designated as a Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE) by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security and a National Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence by the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center for its program in information technology.
