Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) is a public, comprehensive two-year community college serving the Sandhills of North Carolina. In addition to its 150-acre main campus near downtown Fayetteville, FTCC also has a 10-acre Spring Lake campus and a Bragg Training and Education Center on Fort Bragg.

Since May 2018, the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security have designated FTCC as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-year Education. The goal of the program is to reduce vulnerability in our national information infrastructure by promoting higher education and research in cyber defense and producing professionals with cyber defense expertise. Other industry accolades have followed. FTCC was named 2019 Academic Innovator of the Year by EC-Council, and in September 2020, FTCC’s Red Hat Academy program earned the Red Hat Training Innovator of the Year Award, while participant Tiffany Alford was named Red Hat Training Student Ambassador of the Year.

The college offers associate degree and certificate programs, tailored to prepare students for a variety of careers in the field of information technology. Curriculum partners include Cisco, CompTIA, EC-Council, Palo Alto and Red Hat, providing students with diverse options to enter the ever-expanding IT industry.
