Capitol Technology University, an independent, non-profit university in Maryland, is laser-focused on STEM careers and gives students the hands-on, real-world experience they need to enter today’s tech job market.

Despite being a small school, Capitol Tech prepares students to make BIG moves. With degrees in highly lucrative fields such as cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, computer science, aviation and more, students will gain the most in-demand skills needed for their industry and can expect substantial earnings upon graduation.

Boasting one of the best cybersecurity programs in the nation, Capitol Tech has long been recognized as a National Center of Excellence (CAE) by the DHS and NSA. Most recently, Capitol was awarded a two-year grant from the NSA to lead the CAE Northeast Regional Hub, which includes 14 states, the District of Columbia, and hundreds of institutions offering cybersecurity programs.

Capitol’s faculty are working professionals in the field – subject matter experts who apply their knowledge on a daily basis and are up to speed on emerging developments. The chair of Capitol’s highly sought after cybersecurity program, Dr. William Butler, was recently awarded the SC Media Award for Outstanding Educator. This award, along with the exemplary achievements of other Capitol Tech instructors, is a testament to the passion and expertise of the university’s faculty.
