Course Description

Overview of Information Technology concepts including hardware components, operating system and application software, network connectivity, and security principles. Includes preparation for CompTIA’s IT Fundamentals Certification.

  • A. review major ethical theories as they pertain to information and communication technologies;
  • B. apply theories of ethics to case situations in the context of organizational use of information technology; and
  • C. engage with fellow students in a learning environment centered on ethics and ethical decision making.
