Are you a federal employee interested in professional growth and development through virtual training opportunities? CISA’s Federal Cyber Defense Skilling Academy is offering micro-courses in January and February! Each course emphasizes practical training to ensure that participants gain experience in protecting and defending against cyber threats. Learn more about these micro-course offerings below.

The Federal Cyber Defense Skilling Academy’s mission is to provide widely recognized cybersecurity training for government employees, promoting collaboration and interactive learning to protect, defend, respond, and reduce risk to our nation’s critical infrastructure from cyber threats. Looking for more ways to test your cyber skills? Sign up for the President’s Cup Cybersecurity Competition! The President’s Cup is a nationwide competition that seeks to identify, recognize, and reward the best cyber talent in the federal government. Registration opens December 9 and runs through January 14 for teams, and through January 28 for individuals. 

To learn more about previous President’s Cup challenges, federal employees can take on challenges from past competitions by visiting the Practice Area. There’s also the President’s Cup GitHub page, accessible to the public with challenge descriptions and walkthrough guides.
