On August 5, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released the new, downloadable Cybersecurity Workforce Training Guide. This interactive tool will help current and future professionals begin, transition, or advance their career in cybersecurity.
As the cybersecurity field rapidly grows, individuals may be unaware of the requirements needed to advance their career. The Guide is a one-stop-shop full of information and resources to help cybersecurity professionals of all skill levels identify a job track, pinpoint areas of growth, and explore opportunities for hands-on experience.
Utilizing this Guide will provide individuals with a better understanding of the applicable work roles, tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities that are keys to success in cybersecurity. With over 140 training and certification prep courses as well as resources from across the government, the Guide will help professionals chart a path for success in the federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) cybersecurity communities.
